INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., September 11, 2018 – Delegates from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, along with executives from the government of Dubai, the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, and the Emirates Airline Group will visit Indianapolis from September 16-18 on a multi-faceted trade mission.
World Trade Center Indianapolis will host the delegation, whose mission is to strengthen trade and economic ties between Indiana and the fast-growing Emirate. While in the Circle City, delegates will meet with Indiana economic development leaders and private corporations with interests in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
CEO of Dubai FDI Fahad Al Gergawi described the mission as “part of Dubai FDI Global Mission Program to the United States…in line with our efforts to establish partnerships with international investors and enable them to expand and grow their business in Dubai."
“During the mission, we will highlight all significant opportunities in the local market and how American companies - especially those involved in exports - can grow their business by capitalizing on the many competitive advantages in Dubai as an investor-friendly city and regional or sub-regional hub for their business.”
Hoosier businesses hoping to grow their international business prospects in the Middle East are welcomed to join the delegation, along with WTC Indianapolis, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), and Indy Chamber at the offices of Frost Brown Todd on Monday, September 17 from 7:30 am until noon for the “Advantage Dubai” Seminar, presented by Dubai FDI.
